Teaching takeaways from the pandemic: two years later (Guest post for Edpuzzle)

Two years ago, I wrote an article for Edpuzzle about how COVID-19 was impacting parts of Asia and how we were forced to teach remotely. As you can imagine, it quickly became outdated! A lot has changed since February 2020! COVID-19 did not last long as a problem that was exclusive to Asia!

Despite this, that 2020 post remains popular because of the advice regarding technology and online teaching practices. I’m still very proud of it. But when the good people at Edpuzzle asked if I’d like to write an update, I jumped at the chance!

This new post is a reflection as a look back on the last two years and how far we’ve come. It also outlines the biggest lessons that the pandemic has taught me about teaching and learning.
